I once hold my intention to check this out from my shopping basket in an e-commerce. I thought this might just talk about a wound in the past and how to get over it. Until I need a book to reduce my doomscrolling and this book is the closest I can think of. Turned out its the best decision.
I havent done, maybe half I read now. It talks about depression (one of the words I hate, I always try to avoid to use this word). It gives me perspective, in a rational and scientific way how brain, thought and feeling work for people with depression.
It gives me kinda validation of what I feel and think. I feel understood. No no, its not that self diagnose to label my self with certain label to be cool. I just want a better life, a better me. I see in the last half, it also gives some ways to train our brain to get out from depression.
